Brenton Bakes Red Velvet Cupcakes

Super easy and TASTY Red Velvet Cupcakes with a delicious Cream Cheese Frosting!!


235g Self raising flour
15g Cocoa powder
250g Caster sugar
Pinch Salt
270g Soft unsalted butter
4 Large free-range eggs (room temperature)
3 tbs Buttermilk (If you don’t have buttermilk then simply add about a teaspoon of lemon juice or Vinegar to the milk and wait a few minutes!)
1tsp Red food colour paste (try and get the good stuff!)
1 tsp Vanilla extract
3/4 tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
1.5 tsp Apple Cider vinegar

Ingredients (icing):
150g Soft unsalted butter
280g Cream Cheese
400g Icing sugar
