Vanilla Cupcake Recipe | Easy Vanilla Cupcake Recipe


3/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup oil (Sunflower oil or olive oil. Do not use coconut oil)
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1/2 tbsp yogurt (optional. This will make the cup soft and moist)

Preheat oven at 180C
In a bowl, sift flour and baking powder.
In a separate bowl, add in the egg. Beat it using hand mixer until fluffy
Then add sugar and beat until creamy.
Gradually add in the flour and milk alternatively. Do not over mix once the flour is added. Last but not the least, add in the oil, yogurt and essence. To make sure it is well combined, use a spatula and scrape out the edges.

Pour the batter evenly on the cupcake liners.
Tap it on the floor to remove the air bubbles
Put it in the oven and bake it at 180C for 20 mins or until brown on top.
Make sure to cool it for atleast 15 mins before taking out of the pan.
